I manage Engage Education's highly successful training Academy which consists of new trainees starting their first role in recruitment. As part of my role, it requires me to develop and deliver training content with particular focus on enhancing skills around sourcing, securing and retaining candidates and clients. My role consisted of visiting each seasonal location across the UK and US to oversee and support the stationed 'seasonnaires' in raising brand and retail awareness through marketing methods. The methods included focused around weekly branded events, weekly content themes and daily social media activity for followers to participate in.Key Achievements:We were able to increase footfall significantly in the US stores (Boston, Philadelphia and Washington) through our University tour designed to raise store awareness in their area. In terms of online presence, I contributed to the content used by the official Jack Wills social media channels as well as its blog followed by 1.5 million readers. My role allowed me to perform a number of duties that contributed to the performance of the store. As a team leader for the mens department, this involved delegating tasks to team members that included; folding, fitting room cover, till cover and cleaning. I needed to liaise with the management team to decide upon the objectives for each shift. Other duties included the analysis of stock performance and ordering replacement stock as well as visual merchandising of the store to insert new features, products and promotions. I was also heavily involved in the recruitment and training of new employees.Key Achievements:I was able to lead the men’s team to 54% and 51% of the whole of the store’s intake on two consecutive weekends. The average is typically 30% in this store and the men's stock had never sold more than the women's and accessories department. I was also awarded employee of the month on two occasions in the space of four months, credited to work ethic and sales. As a sales assistant, I led the part-time employees in ‘suggested stock’ sales, suggesting items to buy on top of what they have already chosen. In my first 3 months, this totalled to £1650.

My role at Envisage recruitment involved sourcing experienced recruitment professionals into the recruitment industry. I developed into a 360 role that focused on; sourcing candidates, securing clients and retaining candidates and clients. During my time at Envisage, we expanded our offering by launching a training service allowing us to train our clients internal recruiters on effectively sourcing, securing and retaining employees. I developed the training manual as well as lead the one on one sessions. Key Achievements:I was their first placement student to develop into a recruitment consultant as it was originally intended to remain as resource consultant. With that development, I was their first placement student to complete a '360 placement' at Envisage along with developing outer London areas, including Surrey and Hertfordshire. As a training advisor, our clients internal recruiter was able to secure 5 placements after 1 months worth of training saving the client £30,000 in recruitment fees.
