On New Years Eve 2010 my career as I knew it was literally ripped out from under my feet. I was the second in command of a Royal Engineers search team in Afghanistan when I stepped on an IED which resulted in me loosing three limbs. Since then I have had to adapt and overcome the challenges life has, and always will, throw at me. Through making choices and committing to them I have not let my injuries define me. In the last ten years I have taken on many opportunities that have come my way. From being part of an 8 man all disabled cycling team to complete the Race Across America to becoming the worlds first triple amputee PADI rescue diver.I now tell my story with the aim to inspire and motivate the next generation through my talks in schools and colleges with BLESMA and their Generation R project. I deliver presentations and guest speeches to large corporate organisations with the same aim in mind but tailored to a corporate audience.
