Founded and developed projects for a 501(c)(3) organization working to document and preserve the biodiversity of the American Southwest and Mexico.

• Present lab material: Create PowerPoint presentations outlining the information necessary for each lab and facilitate lab experiments for classes of 20-25 students.• Create test material: Write, administer, and grade weekly quizzes based on lab material from the previous week.• Manage student grades: Provide feedback and grade students scientific writing assignments (typically one 3-5 page paper per semester). Input grades and manage the grade book of all students in the lab.

• Sort herbarium specimens into appropriate taxonomic groupings and file specimen into herbarium cabinets • Database new herbarium specimens into the herbarium database• Identification/ identification verification of plant specimens collected for a local flora.
