I believe that for economies to be strong they must function as a collective. Though individual businesses must strive to stand out; they still need a strong network of promoters and supporters for this to be achieved.I have also held senior roles in Insurance, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Retail over the last 25 years. I have recently been the Junior Coordinator for Fitzroy Surf Lifesaving Club and previously been a co-opted Board member for Mid Central Zone of New Zealand Rugby League (MCZ) and Taranaki Rugby League (TRL) who is charged with generating sustainable growth for the game. For both MCZ and TRL I held the role of Chair and my focus with both of these organisations of late is to better align their and their clubs constitutions with the national body NZRL.I am have been studying towards a degree in Management from Massey University and have achieved a Certificate IV in Financial Services from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and a Certificate in Hotel Reception from Central Institute of Technology (CIT).I am a loving husband and a father of two, a daughter and son.
