With over 20 years of experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, I am a dedicated and driven officer who leads the Electronics and Information Systems Training Division at COAST GUARD TRAINING CENTER PETALUMA. I hold the PMP and CISSP credentials, and I have a master's degree in Information Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.My core competencies include Info Technology Project Management, policy development and review, personnel recruitment and retention, budget development, administration, and human resource management. I am responsible for the delivery of the Electronics Technician and Information System Technician Tech Schools, as well as advanced training for various ratings. I also oversee and manage the Info Systems Training Detachment in Portsmouth, VA, which delivers advanced technician and operator training for the ET, EM, OS, and BM ratings. My mission is to provide quality and relevant training to the Coast Guard workforce and to support the operational readiness of the service.
