As the Sales Manager I handle all incoming requests in regards to meetings, events and room blocks. This includes corporate conferences, seminars, Board of Director Meetings, holiday parties as well as all social event requests including bar/bat mitzvah's, weddings, galas, fundraisers, etc.

As the Meetings & Special Events Manager I work directly with planners and clients in creating and detailing high end social and corporate events/room blocks. I am responsible for creating the Banquet Event Orders which are used by each department to execute their tasks during an event. I also work with multiple vendors throughout the tri-state area in order to offer the best possible products to my clients.

As the Meetings & Special Events Coordinator I was responsible for creating and managing all group block reservations. This included creating the group block, room code and website, booking reservations and managing room inventory. I also assisted the Meetings & Special Events Manager in distributing Banquet Event Orders, group resumes (information pertaining to room blocks) and ensuring that housekeeping and the front office were aware of all group room requests.

Led a team of 12 ladies and gentlemen making up the front office while reporting to my direct manager. I was responsible for staffing, blocking of guest rooms payroll, etc. During my tenure as Supervisor the hotel had its most profitable month in regards to hotel room upgrades.

Processed guest check in/check outs and ensured each guest enjoyed their stay while resolving any issues that may occur.

Helped with day to day operations that included tasks such as food and beverage inventories, staffing for events, potential client meetings and ensuring that all events run smoothly and that customers are 100% satisfied with their special day.
