I’m a young professional with a deep passion for sustainability and ESG initiatives currently working as a gas engineer for CenterPoint Energy. I'm looking for a career that allows me to apply engineering critical thinking and problem solving towards improving the sustainability of my company's operations while researching new ways to be economically, socially, and environmentally responsible. While I am a self-driven worker, I also excel when working in teams. I'm highly skilled at project management, budget management and communication and take pride in my ability to foster a work environment that allows my coworkers and me to flourish and thrive. I am an expert with Microsoft Office and have multiple years of design and data visualization experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and PowerBI.Over the last three years I've helped form my engineering department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team. As part of this team I plan, present, and facilitate quarterly meetings on many facets of DE&I to the 30-50 employees in our group. I've also started planning outreach events with local university student groups that promote expanding DE&I in STEM spaces. Additionally, I've become an active participant in my company's recruiting and employee development process serving as the training lead and developing a catalogue of training documents to assist with the onboarding process.
