Served as the Energy Equity Intern for the Bennington County Regional Commission, a state planning commission in Bennington Vermont. Researched whether existing state energy initiatives expanded access to energy efficiency and clean energy technology for low-income residents in Southwestern Vermont, focusing specifically on home weatherization and solar energy services. Research involved statistical and econometric analysis using Stata and Excel to quantify energy burden for residents, interviewing local stakeholders, industry leaders, and regulators, and conducting policy reviews. This culminated in two public presentation, as well as two associated written reports. In addition, this role involved preparing materials to educate local residents on existing clean energy services.
