Project – 18.4 miles of 36” X70 pipe for Trans Canada - Leach Express PipelineLocation – Belmont OhioPosition – CWI – Hill crew, Tie ins, Hydro Testing and AnomaliesResponsibilities:* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines* Review and enforce specifications as defined by Company, API 1104 and CFR regulations.* Verify welding variables such as pre-heat, fit-up, Amps and Volts are within procedure limitations.* Create construction as-builts and redlines drawings capturing joint length, joint drop, welder stencils, NDE numbers, material heat/ PO numbers and other pertinent data.* Visually inspect pipe transitions, joint fit-ups, root passes, and completed welds for compliance.* Prepare appropriate daily turnover and weld inspection report(s) for assigned activities.* Ensure material is properly marked with applicable pertinent data such as - joint number, heat number, PO number and length.* Coordinate work with survey, NDE and construction contractors as needed.* Perform duties as designated by the Chief & Senior Inspectors in accordance with the job requirements

Project – 4.5 miles of 12” X52 pipe for Crestwood’s Plains Connector ProjectResponsibilities:• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines• Review and enforce specifications as defined by Company• Prepare appropriate daily report(s) for assigned activities• Qualify and write welding procedure in accordance with Engineering specifications.• Direct welder testing in accordance with API 1104 and welding procedure• Track and report footages as completed.• Oversee field bending of pipe ensuring minimal pipe defects.• Verify welding is completed within limitations designated in procedure.• Visually inspect completed welds, pipe transitions and joint fit-ups for compliance• Create and submit as-built to job file containing pertinent data. Responsibilities:• Oversee and document welder qualifications, welding work, welding facilities, welding conditions, and NDT examinations • Coordinate with contractors and construction manager• Maintain up-date weld/NDE maps and welder qualification log.• Witness, inspect and review hydro-static testing• Keep a daily log of all incidents and prepare appropriate report(s) for assigned activities.• Inspect fittings and raw material• Create and submit redline drawings for engineering as needed.• Witness and document “Jeep” testing of coated materials and detected holidays• Perform duties as designated by the Chief Inspector in accordance with the job requirements outlined in the project specifications, applicable standards, safety and environmental policies.
