Responsible for everything the operation does, from being a liaison between the customers, vendors, and carriers. Responsible for personnel scheduling, performance reviews, creating standard operating procedures for all accounts. Responsible for all tasks by the department and to make sure that everything is communicated so that inter-department relations are always at a high level. Tasks also include setting up new vendors and grading these vendors based on performance. Responsible for the ability to demonstrate compliance at all times with current TSA regulations. Duties include communicating regulations to sales, ownership, and all personnel. Tasks also include writing, testing, grading, documenting TSA security procedures and functions with all employees within a level that can demonstrate compliance at all times. Liaison between TSA and the organization so that all issues related to cargo security are handled in an efficient manner within the guidelines set forth in the program.

Responsible for all aspects of customer service and inside account management. A typical day consists of handling all aspects of client's logistical needs. It begins with the initial quoting and researching the most cost effective conveyance to shipment setup and tracking and tracing follow through. This all has to be done or communicated in such a timely fashion that the deadlines for the carriers and clients are met on time and every time. The position includes handling all areas of customer billing and paperwork management. The position is also responsible for handling phone calls and customer's day-to-day needs.

Responsible for dispatching drivers to clients throughout the city to pick up their outbound shipments for the day. Also responsible for managing the inventory of company vehicles. Responsibilities also include arranging shipments to get them booked and transported to where they need to be. Another daily function was dealing with customers and vendors on the phone and seeing to it that each issue is handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Experienced various aspects of freight forwarding, including packing, tracking/tracing, customer service, delivery dispatch, and warehouse/inventory during the summer months while home from college.

Worked half time in the office performing tracking, tracing and customer service. The rest of the time was spent in packing and delivering freight. Also included transporting and tendering freight to the carriers at the DFW airport in such a timely fashion that they would move the freight on the specified flights or trucks.

Performed many duties while at Skyking. These duties included accounting to International Operations. Worked full time in the office, performing tracking and tracing. Made arrangements to ship and warehouse the client's freight. These arrangements included making bookings and scheduling deliveries and pick-ups throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Also worked part time throughout the duration of the second semester in High School and then worked full time during the summer months before my college career began. The time during the summer was spent concentrating on routing and transporting local freight from the DFW metroplex to the carriers that would transport it overseas.
