Duties include: Serving a large section of tables for lunch and dinner as well as large parties for private events. Communicating with the guests the daily features. Knowledge of ingredients of food items and cocktails including weight and size. Input of food, beverage, and cocktails into positouch system and making sure they came out correctly and in a timely fashion. Full wine service. Serving large plates of food to guests individually. Clearing tables as well as constant manicuring. Running credit and gift cards and taking care of all forms of payment. Setting up the dining room (making sure silverware, dishware, and glassware are clean and properly placed on tables. Tables are spaced throughout the dining room evenly.) Setting up bar area. Setting up private rooms for large events. Side work such as: refilling steak sauce and condiment bottles, folding napkins, polishing glassware, refilling cracker baskets, refilling and cleaning salt and peppers.
