o Cleaned and filled direct contact cartridges (DCC) used to process waste plastic into a usable oil product.o Position required keen attention to safety due to high temperatures needed to break down waste plastic.o Wore respirator, safety toe boots, and protective uniform throughout shift to adhere to safety requirements set by the company to ensure employee safety. o DCC cleaning time varied based on amount of char build up due to material unable to break down at the temperature required to process plastic. o Able to clean and fill an average of 2 DCC's an hour to keep ahead of production demands. o Promoted to Control Room Operator position within first month of employment oversee production equipment on D shift.

o Retired from the National Guard as Sergeant First Class (SFC) in May 2019 after serving over 20 years. o Supervised the communications section of ten to fifteen soldiers. o Certified trainer for MN NGRF (National Guard Reaction Force) for the battalion for seven years. The NGRF mission is to train for potential riots as well as provide assistance in emergencies.o Increased section morale by organizing meals and game nights after drill. Personnel from other sections often joined us helping build unit cohesion. o Served as S6 Officer In Charge (OIC) on state active duty in support of Super Bowl LII. Oversaw the allocation, distribution, and retrieval of 268 communication devices to five units around Minneapolis. o Assisted former section personnel with troubleshooting whenever possible. o Tasked with maintaining communications (radios and automations) for 1-151 FA BN. o Supervised, planned, and executed the installation, operation, and maintenance of Signal support systems and network integration using radio and battlefield automated systems (BAS). o Developed and implemented unit level Signal maintenance programs, directed unit Signal training and provided technical advice and assistance to commanders. o Communication Cheat Sheets (reference book for soldiers on communication equipment) was incorporated into the Battalion TACSOP (Tactical Standard Operating Procedures). o Coordinated external Signal support mission requirements within the battalion. o Enlisted as a PVT (E1) and promoted six times within the unit to SFC as a part of the BN Staff. o Spent entire career at HHB and supporting the firing batteries in the Battalion resulting in lasting friendships with subordinates, peers, and superiors.

o Deployed to Kuwait in 2010. Served as Battalion COMSEC Custodian and Blue Force Tracker (BFT) NCO where I oversaw 145 individual BFT devices. These systems required quarterly updating, routine maintenance, and repair services. Battalion served as convoy security for units and supplies travelling throughout Iraq.o Responsible for over $520,000 worth of section equipment. o Successfully planned and implemented retransmission of radio frequencies allowing communication to be established throughout Camp Ripley enabling 1-151 FA to fire rocket assisted projectiles (RAP) rounds.o Served as Master driver for Headquarters, Headquarters battery (HHB). Responsible for maintaining the driving records for over 100 soldiers and conducting initial and refresher driver training each year.o Supported 682nd Engineer Battalion with troubleshooting issues and training deficiencies due to loss of leadership personnel. Invited communication soldiers to 1-151 FA for two days of training events. o Allowed soldiers time during drill weekends to continue their military education through completion of assigned and voluntary courses.

o Responsible for a team of three soldiers to set up and maintain a radio retransmission site. o Set up two distinct radio retransmission channels each annual training to allow the firing batteries to continue fire missions uninterrupted despite moving locations multiple times.o Worked with Battalion staff to identify where firing batteries would be located to identify RETRANS sites with small footprints that would provide optimal coverage during firing missions. o Established rotating shifts to allow the team to get adequate rest while maintaining operations.o Trained subordinates to take over the RETRANS team chief position once it became available.o Activated to state active duty to support the community of Rushford in 2007 during the flood.o Selected for overseas training opportunity in 2008 to train with the Norwegian Home Guard in Norway.

o Passed up promotion opportunity to remain with HHB 1-151 FA to build skill set by learning from experienced NCO's and to build lasting professional relationships with Battery and Battalion personnel. o Deployed to Camp Taji, Iraq in 2005 as a member of the Rear Area Operations Center (RAOC). o Reenlisted for an additional six years with the Minnesota National Guard while on deployment.o Worked as a member of the badging office. Tasked with approving access for local Iraqi civilians access to base for employment opportunities. More than 300 Iraqi citizens came on base each day for employment.o Identified over 1,200 fake ID's with the assistance of two interpreters. Developed training to inform military personnel how to identify fake ID's and help increase the overall security of the base.o Activated to state active duty in 2001 to support the local community in Montevideo, Minnesota. Tasked with ensuring local businesses were not broken into, filling sandbags, and helping reinforce the dike.

o Part time position to assist personnel transitioning from rehab back into a normal routine. o Daily duties included room inspections, handing out medication, facility cleanup, and accountability of all personnel in the facility.o Accepted a full time position at Rational Energies the second day of my orientation for the position. o Remained employed at Project Turnabout to work on weekends for a few months to help give the company time to hire a replacement. o Drove from the twin cities every other weekend to work shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings before driving back to the twin cities. My full time position at Rational Energies began a 2/2/3 rotating schedule which meant I could no longer continue to work at Project Turnabout.
