Results-orientated and motivated individual; I graduated from University College Cork with a first-class honours in BSc Biochemistry, where I built a solid foundation in science. Balanced theoretical insights with hands-on laboratory experience, culminating in a 12 week, lab-based research project. I further honed my interdisciplinary expertise by earning an MSc in Biotechnology and Business from University College Dublin/Smurfit Graduate Business School. This programme deepened my understanding of science-business synergies, encompassing strategy, corporate finance, and the business dynamics of biotechnology. I wrapped up my academic journey with an internship at Aalto Bioreagents, serving as a Strategy Consultant. My role involved market and competitor analysis, financial assessment, and conducting risk studies.In my current role as a Consultant with EY Ireland's Transformation Delivery department, I contribute as a PMO/Portfolio analyst on significant capital and infrastructure projects. I have a strong interest in the business aspects of the life sciences sector, particularly strategy, project management and finance. Additionally, I maintain a major interest in the practical areas of science, including R&D and process development/improvement.
