Pediatric Pharmacist
CurrentProvides clinical/distributive leadership at a standalone 150+ bed regional pediatric hospital on overnight shift (7 on /7 off). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: management/provision of high-quality safe and effective pharmacotherapy to inpatients, supervision of advanced certified pharmacy technicians, provision of contemporary evidenced-based pharmacotherapy literature reviews to primary and second-level providers, pharmacokinetic management of narrow therapeutic index medications upon consult, maintenance on electronic patient medical records, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines that ensure safe, effective and compounded sterile products (i.e. USP 797 and USP 800) and maintenance clinical knowledge skill set via continuing education, board certification and state/national meeting attendance.
