I was lead on tenders, market research projects, identification and progression of new business opportunities and the development of external and internal profiles of the firm and the government and infrastructure and real estate departments. I translated business objectives into business development and marketing plans that raised the firms profile and fee income in key growth areas.I was responsible for all elements of the tender process and introduced and implemented tools and processes which directly affected the success of tenders submitted by the firm. The value of these tenders to the business range from £15k to £5m. Achievements included:Leading on the successful tender to advise TfL on Crossrail 2, the largest scheme the firm had won to date. Working with the Heads of Department, Practice Heads, Business Managers and fee earners to develop and implement targeting initiatives that have resulted in increased profile and a growing customer base.Improving the department’s client listening and key account programmes.Managed successful tenders (and retenders) for major developments and key client frameworks.Leading on firm-wide, integrated marketing campaigns which have resulted in instructions being received by multiple departments.Identifying, developing and implementing a series of thought leadership initiatives in response to market trends. I was the main contact with external consultants for these initiatives.

Part of Mace's corporate marketing team, I was responsible for producing bids, planning and implementing marketing campaigns, event and exhibition organisation and managing the Mace website. Achievements included a number of successful bids for major project clients, a research project that resulted in a £multi-million contract within the retail sector, management of the Student Accommodation Conference which resulted in growth of the company's property portfolio and coordination of the Celebrity Cricket Challenge which raised £32k for charity, WaterAid.

Seconded to CLM, the delivery partner for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Based on the Olympic Park, roles included business development, design management, event management, site communications and internal communications.In July 2011, I coordinated the 'One year to go' event at the Aquatics Centre. The event, broadcast globally, was hugely successful. Other events under my charge have included the ODA Construction Awards, Big Build Completion Celebration and Broxbourne White Water Rafting event.

I was seconded to CLM to manage events coordination and internal communications for the London 2012 Olympic site.

Summer placement working with the marketing and communications team on a variety of marketing, brand and communications activities.

Temporarily assisted with a legal case between Black and Veatch and Dublin City Council.
