Member of team responsible for SAS’ public cloud usage in AWS, Azure, and GCP. Primaryresponsibilities included automation of on-boarding internal users, creation of event-drivensecurity mechanisms, and cost reduction through automated analysis of deployments andprocurement of reserved instances. CloudFormation and Terraform were utilized to maintainautomation which uses API Gateway, Event Bus, Lambda, and other AWS services.This position involved the usage of Jenkins for build automation, custom REST APIdevelopment for interfacing with various internal and external systems, and automatedsecurity scanning via Blackduck for third party libraries and Twistlock for custom builtcontainers. Docker and Kubernetes were also used via blue-green deployments for runningcustom containers related to our internal API offerings.
