Josh Small became a valuable member of Gerrits Engineering Ltd. in May 2015, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, he has accumulated over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design. Throughout his career, Josh has taken on the role of Lead Mechanical Engineer for a diverse range of projects. From single and multi-storey residential buildings to healthcare facilities, commercial spaces, industrial complexes, educational institutions, and recreational structures, he has successfully contributed to numerous projects across Canada.Prior to joining Gerrits Engineering, Josh gained valuable experience in the fast-paced world of Automotive Manufacturing. Working on multi-million-dollar plant retrofits and safety upgrades, he honed his skills in managing and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.Beyond his professional pursuits, Josh finds joy in spending time with his family, playing with their beloved dog, and engaging in the discipline of jiu-jitsu.
