Manages the Oncor Transmission Services North Texas/Panhandle Region for transmission generation, large commercial/industrial customer and utility interconnections.Serves as the primary Oncor interface with numerous entities (generating plants, electric utilities, rural electric cooperatives, and large retail customers) to negotiate and coordinate the establishment of the most challenging, large scale, or critical interconnections with the Oncor transmission system to meet the needs of those entities and Oncor, consistent with all applicable tariffs and regulations, while protecting the interests of Oncor. As a part of such activity, negotiates, prepares, and secures various contracts with such entities in a reasonable manner while protecting the interests of Oncor, coordinates interface between entities and Oncor during design and construction to facilitate timely completion of facilities, and manages financial transactions with such entities such as contributions in aid of construction, irrevocable letters of credit, corporate guarantees, and cash deposits. Serves as a NERC Reliability Standard owner for one or more challenging NERC Reliability Standards. Provides guidance to Transmission Services Consultants in all aspects of their responsibilities, including the development and negotiation of contracts.In this role I have developed a training program for the Generation Interconnections process and revised the Oncor Generation Interconnection Process to interface with the training program. I actively train and mentor new Transmission Services Consultants . In 2021, I completed multiple process improvement projects, completed NERC compliance reviews for multiple Standards and trained new consultants in excess of the average Transmission Services scope of work.

As a Transmission Services Consultant (TSC) at Oncor, I am the key point of contact for communications and interaction with various market entities to meet transmission-level electric service needs, including both establishing and maintaining interconnection with the Oncor transmission system. These entities include generators/resources and facilities, electric utilities/cooperatives, and large commercial/industrial customers. My responsibilities as a TSC include the establishment of interconnections, agreement and contract negotiations, and the achievement and maintenance of interconnections with the Oncor transmission system to meet interconnection needs, while maintaining compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and tariff requirements.The role of TSC is unique as it requires project management skills, the ability to establish and maintain relationships with external and internal clients, and a knowledge of many different aspects of the electric utility industry and market structure. As a TSC you interface with almost every business unit involved with the reliable operation of the electric grid. I partner with Distribution, Transmission, Engineering, Planning, Compliance, ROW, Legal, Treasury, external consultants and Metering as well as real time Operations and Coordination on a daily basis to maintain schedules and meet deliverable deadlines.
