At Follett Corporation I worked on a small, but mighty Communications team that worked to provide the company with all internal and external communications functions, as well as services typically provided by an IT organization, such as web application development and digital asset management. This was a highly visible position where I had the opportunity to work with business leaders and various departments throughout the company on a regular basis. Throughout my time at Follett I had the opportunity to: • Develop and maintain enterprise web applications o Applications include custom content management tools, productivity tools, and applications to help drive company culture. o Developed in-house intranet/internet software solutions to replace more than $500,000 worth of third-party vendor contracts. o Worked with business leaders to build custom solutions for unique technology needs using platforms such as Adobe ColdFusion and other web application technologies. • Produce video content for various company announcements, presentations, and community outreach projects o Utilized skills in shooting and editing video and audio content for use on the corporate intranet, sales presentations, town halls, and external outlets. o Traveled to various campus store locations to produce video content using drones and other advanced video technology. o Used tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro to create high quality video content and Adobe After Effects to create supporting graphics and animated videos. • Produce and manage live enterprise level event broadcasts/Live streams o Managed and instructed executives to ensure broadcast and presentation fluidity. o Produced live enterprise town halls, Q and A's, Panel Discussions to a remote and in person audience of more than 1,000 people. • Work with IT organization to support hardware and software upgrades and data migrations.

At EMC Insurance I was a part of a large team devoted to upgrading and maintaining legacy code used for insurance underwriting purposes. This was a head down developer position with little contact with other departments or business leaders. Throughout my time at EMC Insurance I had the opportunity to: • Develop and maintain user friendly underwriter support dashboard applications utilizing technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and legacy languages such as MAPPER. • Develop various forms with client-side and server-side validation to help ensure database integrity • Work in a highly collaborative Agile development environment to complete projects quickly and accurately • Utilize skills in project management and issue-tracking software, JIRA, including reporting and tracking of new features, software bugs, and development
