Hello, I’m Josh Acker, a sophomore at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business, where I am majoring in Applied Finance and Accounting. Over the last year I have earned a 3.9 GPA and recently achieved the honor of being placed on the Dean’s List—an accomplishment I take great pride in.Outside the classroom, I engage actively in a variety of clubs that foster both my interests and my professional development. These include the Finance Society, Investment Banking Club, Alternative Investments Club, Fordham Global Markets, and Club Frisbee. Each of these experiences enriches my understanding of finance and builds my network.This past summer, I had the fortunate opportunity to intern at Acnos Pharmaceuticals as a Finance Intern. This role allowed me to hone my Excel skills and deepen my financial and accounting knowledge. More importantly, it taught me the value of organization and the importance of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. I consider myself fortunate to have gained such valuable experience early in my career.
