Bulletins and connection cards are areas of church service that can benefit from a more digital process. From our experiences serving in our churches, the processes of printing and stuffing bulletins and collecting connection card information is monotonous and time consuming. Our goal at Bulletn is to provide churches an option for creating and tracking bulletins and connection cards that can help them better streamline their approach and better serve their congregation.As a developer, I lead the front end work for our desktop bulletin/connection card management site that includes React, Apollo, Jest/Enzyme. I also help build out the back end services, collaborate with our UX team to shape the user experience, and develop relationships with churches as potential partners.

Led front end development on long term projects for three clients within the Hybris ecommerce platform using HTML, CSS (SCSS and Less), Javascript/jQuery. Set up build processes for with Grunt and GulpDeveloped single page controllers that are being used to combine select pages into one page. This reduced transaction times by ~5 seconds which helped turn around the project and allowed more customers to be brought on to the platformHeavily interfaced with client and design teams to manage expectations of what was out of the box Hybris and what work would need custom implementationsDeveloped a major component, which was used in 25+ separate instances across the application, that wrapped the Kendo UI Grid component to abstract custom behavior required by the client
