I took part in a unique opportunity to immerse myself with the financial services sector during the Macquarie Insight Day as part of their Rise to It Programme, we took part in a case study, trading game, had a networking event, and discussed about what it was like to work within all the different roles within the sector. Following another successful application, I am also going to be taking part in a week of work experience within Macquarie's Commodities & Global Markets division. I will be shadowing members of the team, experiencing what happens day-to-day, and take part in other activities with work experience students.
