As the primary L'Oreal engineer, I led the seamless transfer, installation, start-up, and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing batch skids and utilities for a new plant valued at over $50M. Overseeing the conversion of a warehouse into our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, I orchestrated the installation of a comprehensive utility package, encompassing high purity process water systems, boilers, compressed air, and HVAC units. Guiding a team of 3 technicians and 1 engineer, I ensured efficient operations while mentoring their professional growth. Additionally, I spearheaded equipment improvements and automation enhancements, optimizing our preventive maintenance program through Maintenance Connection software. Managing both capital investment and expense budgets for the facility, I maintained fiscal responsibility throughout project execution.In fostering a proactive and preventive maintenance culture, I prioritized initiatives to mitigate reactive maintenance and breakdowns, enhancing overall operational reliability.
