My name is Josh Taylor and I live with my wife Kaela, and daughter Elsie in beautiful Wyoming Ohio.As a former deputy sheriff at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, I had the privilege of serving and protecting the people of Cincinnati in various roles, such as the Electronic Monitoring Department, the Sex, Arson, and Violent Offenders Registration Unit, and the Community Affairs Division. In the latter, I was part of a brand new unit dedicated to community outreach and engagement, where I applied my skills in communication, collaboration, and critical thinking to foster positive relationships and trust with diverse stakeholders.I resigned from my position in November 2022, after the birth of my daughter, and have since dedicated myself to pursue a career in the Tech world, a fast-paced and ever-evolving field that challenges me to learn new skills and solve complex problems. I have been taking online courses and certifications in Python and Cybersecurity to prepare myself for the next steps in my career journey, however my focus now is on pursuing a career in Data Analytics. I have received a Data Analytics Certification through Microsoft and I am currently preparing to take the Microsoft PL 300 examI hold a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and Psychology from Cincinnati Christian University, which has helped me develop self-awareness, empathy, and ethical values. I am eager to leverage my technical and interpersonal skills, as well as my experience in law enforcement and community outreach, to contribute to the Data Analytics industry and make a positive impact.
