Layout Design• Designed reports of 50+ pages with multiple issues of a 200+ page report.• Designed many infographics with abbreviated versions for social media.• Designed and implemented new templates for reports, trackers, and white papers.• Created a suite of templated images to use on the website as well as social media channels that promote various resources.• Designed various collateral for tradeshow booths that promoted resources.• Implemented new workflows and acquired new tools that cut production time on larger projects in half on average, and in some instances by 75%.Creative Project Management• Determined resource availability and delegated projects to team members based on workload.• Created, documented and implemented a production process for all layout projects that captures the tasks from the initial research through publication. This includes coordination efforts among five departments and 20+ stakeholders across the organization, including department directors and senior leadership members. I introduced this course to not only have students develop a brand and identity for themselves, but to give them as much real-world design information as I possibly could to better prepare them for a job after leaving SNHU. We also went over methods of how to stand out from a large group of applicants when applying for jobs. In the Fall 2015 semester, I introduced a new special topics course to SNHU: Advanced Desktop Publishing. I designed and created this course to teach students about larger, more in-depth publication type projects. By 2017, it became a permanent class and elective for design students. As of 2020, it is now a requirement within the BA in Graphic Design program for campus students. In the Fall 2013 semester, I introduced a new special topics course to SNHU: Digital Publishing. I designed and created this course to teach students about interactive digital publishing — specifically for the iPad using Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite.
