This includes coordination efforts among five departments and 20+ stakeholders across the organization, including department directors and senior leadership members. I wore many hats at Hawthorn. Print designer, digital designer, production wizard, efficiency ninja... the list goes on. My favorite projects revolve around the tourism industry – mainly guidebooks and magazines. Multi-page, text-heavy projects are among my specialty. Over my six and a half academic years at SNHU, I taught 25 total classes: multiple sections of desktop publishing, advanced desktop publishing, personal branding, digital publishing, and basic design and color theory. In the Fall 2015 semester, I introduced a new special topics course to SNHU: Advanced Desktop Publishing. I designed and created this course to teach students about larger, more in-depth publication type projects. By 2017, it became a permanent class and elective for design students. As of 2020, it is now a requirement within the BA in Graphic Design program for campus students. In the Fall 2013 semester, I introduced a new special topics course to SNHU: Digital Publishing. I designed and created this course to teach students about interactive digital publishing — specifically for the iPad using Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite. I was hired by the College of Online and Continuing Education at SNHU as a Subject Matter Expert to assist in the development of the BA in Graphic Design & Media Arts program. Through the 14-week contract, I was involved with drafting the program description, program outcomes, and curriculum structure. In addition, I assisted in developing competency statements, performance indicators, as well as assessment concepts for the 10 courses of the program.

After my year as the graduate assistant for The Learning Center, I switched departments to the COCE to start up a new tutoring program. Before May 2013, the COCE hadn't offered in-person tutoring to the students taking courses during the summer terms. I conducted walk-in tutoring for students taking finite math, pre-calculus, calculus, calculus II, discrete math, statistics, regression analysis, linear algebra, and quantitative analysis.
