While leading a team in data warehousing and Analytics, my role involves, understanding customer requirements, new insights in the existing data and making sense of the new data brought in the warehouse.Medicare part D (MEDD) is one of the fastest growing segment in healthcare and CVS is poised to grow exponentially in this area. With the growing MEDD business, there was a need of a centralized reporting and analytical engine to be defined for MEDD (Defined in Teradata). I lead effort to define the requirements, manage the design and ownership of the deployed product. We created a secure environment for data of multiple clients to reside, and to enable the audit process from CMS if there be a need. The effort we put resulted in a strategic win for our organization and served as the single source of information for all business areas during the CMS Bidding phase. It ensures that CVS is favorably placed to be a leader in MEDD space in years to come.

I lead multiple strategic projects for Aetna and ESI (formerly Medco) during my tenure with Cognizant. Aetna: I lead a team of the BA's to deliver the requirements to setup the new Healthcare Marketplace on Aetna Data warehouse. This project was strategically important for Aetna to be competitive on the market place based on then new Obamacare. ESI: Lead a BA team to define the requirements and managed the development of Adaptive Metadata repository system which can be integrated with any Business Intelligence tools available in the market through a JAVA framework. Created an eco system in Adaptive, where the users can get to see the data usage, understand its value, check the lineage and define new metrics based on the data without ever looking to an actual data value. Also defined an extensive data governance system, which has checks and balances to ensure the quality of data and drives customer satisfaction.

I was one of the few SE's in Infosys history to get a promotion within 2 years of joining the company. In my first few years I worked extensively on the data analysis on DB2 data warehouse and understood the intricacies of the system. I moved on to Infosys Consulting side working on many complex business problems (including, migrating E publishing platform from Oracle to HP, defining FICO Blaze complex rules to name a few)
