I am primarily responsible for general business and construction operations such as administration, architectural design, project management, marketing, construction estimating, customer consultation, job site supervision, and business finance/budgeting.Additionally, it is my goal to explore and implement new construction methods, trends, and technologies such as building information modeling, post-frame building, smart homes, and sustainability of facilities.

• Assist with the day-to-day office operations.• Enter, track, and review contracts, warranties and waivers, and insurance certificates.• Work directly with project managers and estimators to assist in implementing project goals.• Call and email subcontractors and suppliers to price projects.• Create purchase orders and send change orders to subcontractors.• Read blueprints and verify the field count of various materials.• Coordinate job site trailers and dumpsters.

• Assisted in the new construction and renovation of many projects.• Provided labor for framing, installing metal paneling siding and roofing, and home repairs.

• Analyzed blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents.• Ensured that each door/frame had the correct hardware prep, finish, material, undercut, etc according tospecifications and plans.• Filled out quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing for material and labor to establish a value for the work.• Communicated with Project Managers, General Contracts, and Engineers efficiently; and preparefor addendums and adjustments to estimates.• Prepared for and participated in pre-bid meetings.• Estimated doors and frames for large construction projects such as hospitals, schools, and hotels.

- Communicate with site supervisors and team members to complete project objectives on schedule.- Coordinate on-site material deliveries, prepare materials for returns and fill out purchase orders.- Assist with a team in framing, plumbing, and general duties of a construction site.- Coordinate and ensure all projects are completed on time.- Maintain a clean job site and ensure machines are serviced.
