• Perform pre-work diagnostics on machinery• Set up robots/machines to achieve customer specific epoxy thickness• Properly delegate certain tasks to helpers• Maintain work ethic and production without constant supervision • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair in field conditions• Keep detailed accounts of weld/coating inspections• Keep detailed accounts of welds coated• Maintain and turn in accurate expense reports• Assist other technicians when needed

• Diagnose RSS as they arrive into the shop• Strip down RSS into sub-components• Strip down sub-components and repair damaged parts• Build/repair lithium thionyl chloride batteries by interpreting wiring diagram• Understand and abide by the dangers of said batteries• Utilize Torque Master to break and apply torque to tool joints• Operate manual lathe, and mill, to modify/repair components/tooling• Use calipers, OD/ID mics, depth mics, files, and other tooling to maintain tight tolerances • Assist in writing & adjusting assembly procedures in Tool Assembly Manual• International travel to service and repair RSS abroad• Rebuild sub-components to go back on the RSS Tool• Build up RSS and commission to go back into the field

• Test Bias Units(RSS), interpreting results to determine availability for field use• Test Controllers, interpreting results to determine availability for field use• Perform Post-Field testing procedures prior to disassembly process• Disassemble LWD/RSS Tools using extraction tooling and breakout machine• Perform Pre-Field testing procedures prior to sending tools into the field• Maintain understanding of all safety regulations, emblems, and practices• Assigned the task of keeping track of all Bias Units arriving and departing from facility, using Microsoft Excel to have an accurate spreadsheet• Provide accurate Hand-Over notes on duties performed throughout the shift• Maintain neat and orderly work area at all times
