I've been active for over 20 years in the theater industry. As a theater professional I have acted, produced, directed, and held technical positions in building, lighting, sound, and costuming. I've written several produced one-act plays, and performed both improv comedy and sketch comedy. Currently I am co-producer of Self Express Productions, a community theater organization in Winfield, Alabama. Self Express provides four large scale shows a year, made available to both public and student audiences. We also offer periodic theater workshops and a summer theater camp for young people.I am fiercely committed to creating opportunities for young people and adults to build self-expression and confidence. In addition to Self Express Productions I work for the Winfield School District, administrating the district website. I also work with and tutor students in film and media projects, and am continually seeking new ways to build their comfort, confidence, and teamwork.
