- Solely completed the study’s fieldwork; Field evaluation of a native North American parasitoid against Asian longhorned beetles in the quarantined area in Worcester, Massachusetts.- Infested prepared logs with invasive ALB larva in a quarantined laboratory for deployment across the state of Massachusetts to Worcester for deployment. - Coordinated with outside agencies, including Worcester based USDA tree climbers, Umass Amherst’s Dept. of Environmental Conservation and Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, After field exposure, USDA’s ARS Beneficial Insects Introduction Research Unit and other specialists to navigate the study and determine best practices. - Cut and waxed over 144 sentinel logs, infested with over 864 ALB larva, individually caged, doubly secured for transport, and installed on-site. - Assisted with general laboratory procedures, including Autoclave preparation, laboratory sanitation, hazardous material storage, and disposal.- Worked as a member of a team to assist with other projects, including phragmites scale, citrus longhorned beetle, bark beetles, spotted lanternfly, boxwood tree moth, and several parasitic wasps.- Designed and manufactured a custom PVC light rack which saved the organization money and allowed for full use of a growing chamber’s area. - Participated in community outreach to educate the public about environmental relationships.
