Revolver is an Australian production company known for its commitment to produce high-end film and experiential work. Here's some of my work there: https://www.joshmullens.com/aquicklookIn 2010 we formed an experiential arm called Will O’Rourke, to make new types of commercial and artistic projects combining world-class production skills and creative talent. The roster featured partners including The Glue Society and other multidisciplinary directors, artists, architects, and creative coders.I led projects across many disciplines including experiences, film, technology, and design. I delivered special project ideas, bidding, scheduling, producing, and was client and creative liaison. I produced work for agencies and clients including Google, Airbnb, Uber, Vice, Telstra, TAC, Volkswagen, GAP, Facebook, NAB, Samsung, McDonald’s, Comcast Xfinity, ANZ, Qantas, Capital One, Nissan, Stella Artois, IKEA, Mars, Ford, Nokia, Seek, NRMA, MLC, SKY TV, Tiger Beer, Schweppes, Cochlear, David Jones, City of Sydney, Art Gallery of NSW & Sundance Film Festival. In 2018 Revolver/Will O'Rourke was 2nd in the Palme d'Or Production Company of the Year at the Cannes Lions, and in 2015 won International Production Company of the Year at New York Festivals. I judged at shows including Cannes Lions 2018 where I was an awarding jury member of the inaugural Brand Experience & Activation category. Alongside our partners the Will O'Rourke arm was recognised at the Cannes Lions for 39 Lions including a PR Grand Prix (NAB Break Up 2011), a Creative Effectiveness Lion (NRMA Car Creation 2013), and an Outdoor Grand Prix (ANZ GAYTMs 2014); at the Clios for a Grand Clio (Cochlear Hearing Test in Disguise 2017), at One Show for a Green Pencil (Nissan LEAF Petrol Bowsers 2013), and at Sydney Design & NSW Architecture Awards (The Martian Embassy, Redfern 2012). During my time, the company won Production Company of the Year at AWARD Awards and Mumbrella multiple times.
