I launched Pharmacist Consult in January 2020, a volunteer-based drug information resource meant to provide easy-to-interpret drug information to patients from the point-of-view of licensed pharmacists. I serve as the Head Writer for the organization and I recruit other pharmacists to also write content for the betterment of the general patient population. In July 2021, I left Pharmacist Consult to avoid a conflict of interest with GoodRx.

Woonsocket, Rhode Island, United States

This was a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship experience based out of the CVS Health corporate headquarters in Rhode Island. A pharmacist position, the primary component of this fellowship was to serve as an integral member of the Quality Standards & Clinical Decision Support team while concurrently developing skills as a drug information specialist and corporate team member at-large.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I worked closely with others as a member of the pharmacy team, striving to deliver excellent patient care with an emphasis on customer service primarily in the aspects of drop-off, production, and pick-up. I concurrently performed miscellaneous activities such as handling billing conflicts, transferring prescriptions, compounding, and completing maintenance tasks. As a pharmacist intern, I performed all tasks within the pharmacy aside from final prescription verification.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

The Summer Leadership Development Program with CVS Health in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area was a 5-week program that allowed pharmacist interns to further engage with the company from a leadership-development and management point-of-view.Throughout this internship, interns were able to learn the "ins-and-outs" of the different metrics that retail stores are assessed on. Concurrently, we developed different facets of our leadership capabilities. Essentially, this internship aimed to prepare future pharmacists to take on, and excel in, CVS Health leadership positions both now and in the future. Out of more than 120+ applicants, 12 total interns from across the country were selected for the program.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Designed to be a 2-year program from start to finish, the Indiana Area Health Education Center (AHEC), Metropolitan Indianapolis - Central Indiana region, is centered around community-based experiences. This student fellowship is designed to give professional, multidisciplinary healthcare students a deeper understanding of rural and urban healthcare, caring for underserved populations, and the importance of practice transformation in a clinical care setting. This was a great outlet for me to increase my competency as a future pharmacist in an interprofessional setting; rising medical doctors, physician assistants, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and pharmacists were all part of the program. Overall, there are 54 AHEC programs with more than 200 centers that operate in almost every state and the District of Columbia. Each regional center is locally grown to assess and meet the needs of citizens in that specific region.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

As this specialized type of technician, I interpreted, and added to, the hospital's EMR (Epic). I coordinated responses and resolutions to issues with appropriate internal and external parties. I maintained proficiency with departmental information system technology and documentation systems and I maintained a contemporary professional knowledge base and I linked that to generating accurate medication histories that worked to aid patient outcomes.
