Member of the PHENIX collaboration, a collaboration of over 300 individual scientists which design, create, maintain, and analyze data-from the PHENIX high energy/nuclear physics particle detector system.

Created live system health monitoring and metrics for data acquisition electronics such as multi-input correlated local timing drifts, global timing drift, noise rates, signal rates, and bandwidth (Linux, C++).Created offline tools to analyze high-performance data acquisition system performance to aid in electronic trigger performance tuning via time-dependent statistical analysis. Monitored and detected problems such as miss-cabling, incorrect calibrations, and misbehaving electronics. Used these tools to propose and/or implement changes to hardware/software to increase reliability and system performance.
