I'm passionate about helping people work happier, healthier, and more productively and about building ecosystems that support innovation and entrepreneurship. That's why, after 20 years of experience bootstrapping tech startups to profitability, I shifted my focus from global to local and founded Ironfire Workspaces in Long Beach, California.Ironfire is a hospitality company specializing in workplace experience, offering flexible work, meeting, and event spaces enhanced by rich programming and vibrant communities of entrepreneurs, small business owners, and remote workers. Ironfire was born of my desire to connect with like-minded innovators and founded on the belief that there are better ways to do the work we love.Ironfire is currently partnering with asset owners to design and operate flexible workspaces by way of branded management agreements. Adding our hospitality-driven offering to their portfolios provides landlords higher valuations and better returns on investments. We're also exploring licensing agreements and consulting services designed for owner/operators who want to add workspace as an amenity to their commercial or residential projects.Prior to spending most of my corporate career in marketing, I studied molecular genetics at UCLA before being admitted into their world-renowned film & television program and graduating with honors. As a self-taught full-stack web developer specializing in SaaS and cloud-based productivity apps, I've launched and bootstrapped several tech startups to profitability. I co-founded the indie theater company that incubated the careers of Randall Park and Ali Wong, led marketing and A&R for an indie record label, and wrote & performed stand-up comedy in Los Angeles for almost a decade. Most importantly, I'm the father of two teenage children, the older of whom has special needs.
