 Primary experience in carpentry and set dressing, as well as working with the installing of artwork and graphics. Experienced in the building and installing of staging, graphic panels, backdrops, dance floors, plinths, artwork hanging, fabric work, canvass stretching, truss systems and lighting. Worked on projects for clients such as Google, Microsoft, Nokia, BAFTA, Serpentine gallery, Blaine Southern Gallery, Yoko Ono, Damien Hirst, Bosco, Adidas. Currently working with various companies in and around London both workshop based and site based, including Exhibition continues and Complete Avenue.

 Required to work on all aspects of event production, including set building and dressing, staging, lighting, sound and logistics. Work based both in the workshop and at various venues across the UK and europe  Dedicated to long and often unsociable hours needing a quick can-do attitude being able to work under pressure.  Understanding of rigging, lighting, sound, carpentry and fabric work.  Occasionally required for event standby and light operating.

 A challenging role working for a museum-standard framing company requiring upholding the company’s ‘museum standards.’ Clients included Tate Galleries, Getty Images, V&A Museum, British Museum plus an array of worldwide independent galleries and collectors.  Working mainly in the artwork fitting department installing artwork into frames to the highest conservation standard. A role that requires lots of problem solving, often having to come up with solutions under very tight deadlines. Ensuring the quality of the finished product is of the highest museum standard and ensuring this practice is kept across the workshop. Safe handling and storage of large format artworks and materials including dry mounts, photography, a wide range of papers, canvass, glass, Perspex and aluminium. Ensuring the work is carried out in the safest environment, minimizing risks that could damage artwork in any way.

 A challenging role working for a museum-standard framing company requiring upholding the company’s ‘museum standards.’ Clients included Tate Galleries, Getty Images, V&A Museum, British Museum plus an array of worldwide independent galleries and collectors. Working with materials in direct contact with the artwork. Mounting and fixing artworks into position using processes such as Japanese hinging, acid-free tabbing, mounting and stitching all to conservation/museum standard. Required a great deal of technical knowledge regarding the materials plus exceptional patience and accuracy when working direct with priceless artworks. As part of the team was responsible for the safe handling and storage of all artwork. Individually was responsible for stock control and ordering. Was also responsible for the training and delegation of work for new members of the technician team.
