I am an electrical engineering graduate with technical knowledge of HVAC system design and computer simulation techniques for calculating building energy consumption. At my current position, I am solely responsible for completing energy consumption analysis for building code compliance. Within this role, I provide technical expertise to clients; provide timely project delivery; attend and contribute to key stakeholder meetings, including quarterly meetings with the City of Calgary; and maintain, develop, and grow client relationships. My key qualifications are:• Designing commercial and residential HVAC and plumbing systems to applicable building codes• Drafting mechanical designs using AutoCAD• Prioritizing energy efficiency measures with focus on cost effectiveness• Energy simulation analysis using numerous energy modelling tools• Reporting and modelling for energy code compliance (commercial and residential)• Customer service focus which has resulted in both new and repeat business• Writing detailed and accurate technical reports
