Assisting our member’s understand their UCare plan benefits and navigating them on the best anvenue to get the best outcome for their healthcare. In addition I help assist member’s when necessary setup transportation rides to and from their medical appointments and insuring its with a reliable in network taxi service or bus service. When necessary I route tasks to the appropriate service area for research and follow up with the member on those tasks when asked in a timely manner. As well as handling & fielding calls from Medical Providers relating to inquiries about UCare Member Claims details, UCare Member Benefit details, UCare Member Authorization details, Member Eligibility details & Provider Portal inquiries when necessary.

I was listed at one point to be a liason between our office and the Allina Health corporate office, I would transfer patient PHI from paper to electronic format and forward to the Medical Records Department to have documented into the patient medical health record.
