Hello! My name is Josh, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Cell, Molecular, and Structural Biology (CMSB) at Miami University, with an expected graduation in May 2026. I graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Forensic Science in May 2024 from Miami University.I have experience with both academic and preclinical research, through Miami University and Charles River Laboratories, respectively. I have experience in clinical diagnostic lab work through UC Health and Dermpath Diagnostics (a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics). I also have experience in a forensic laboratory setting from an internship at the Hamilton County Crime Laboratory.Through my involvement with MU OIP-u at Miami, I have become more educated about the American justice system and wrongful conviction. Through this organization, I have had the opportunity to meet clients of the Ohio Innocence Project who were wrongfully convicted, in addition to advocating for reforms in the justice system to prevent wrongful conviction.
