I am a student at Western Michigan University at the Hayworth College of Business. I am searching for any opportunity to grow and contribute any way that I can. I hope to find a good workplace that I will be able to stay with until retirement. I have a unique work history ranging from ground level work to mid level office work, as well as miscellaneous leadership training and experience.My starting work experience was in the family medical supply business under my dad and grandfather. They had me working under every position in the company from cleaning toilets, taking thousand dollar deposits to the bank, taking care of office and building maintenance, to making damaged rental equipment usable again. Later I was dealing directly with customers as a home care and office delivery driver; building great relationships with customers in homes and offices. Doing any job I was assigned to make the company profitable.Working under those jobs I was able to earn commendations in the form of gifts from customers. It was the first time any employee had gotten any form of thanks, other than a thank you call, and after I left in early 2016 to fully peruse higher education it was another two years until someone would receive a similar commendation from a customer. After working at Center Medical Supply I haven't always found myself in direct contact with a customer, but I have always found it useful to have that experience to apply as needed in any workplace situations. Through work experience I have learned to peruse any job as if I was the most driven employee I could be. In my year of working at MPI, now Charles River Labs, I became the second best cleaner above and more reliable than some 5 and 7 year employees. Only below the 20 year veteran cleaner and I was still just as reliable for getting any job done. Going forward into any job I plan on being driven and perusing any career as best as a I can.
