I am highly proficient in cloning and editing bacterial and eukaryotic expression constructs using various molecular biology techniques. I also possess extensive experience in employing chromatographic techniques using AKTA and Bio-Rad NGC systems, and I am well-versed in quality control and characterisation methods for protein samples. Additionally, I have expertise in conducting high-throughput activity assessments on intracellular and secreted proteins, such as AMBPs, cytokines, kinases, antibodies, and scFv fragments.I hold a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol, where my research focused on the biophysical and structural characterisation of the Human Nonsense Mediated Decay (NMD) factor UPF3B. During my doctoral studies, I published two first-author papers highlighting a co-crystal structure of NMD factors UPF3B and UPF2 as well as a Cryo-EM structure of the ADDomer viral-like particle vaccine platform. I also supervised undergraduate and master's students, guiding them in their research endeavours.In addition to my scientific contributions, I have played a key role in staff onboarding and provided expert instruction to fellow scientists within my areas of expertise.
