Based on the ineffectiveness of N95s in high-risk environments (e.g. ICUs) and the shortage of PAPR technology, paPURE has designed a 3D printable solution to solve current and projected shortages in PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirators) devices for frontline healthcare providers. Our solution is highly scalable and adaptable to pre-existing technology in hospitals. It can be rapidly made in-house both simply and affordably, making it highly accessible.

Designed and Set up the Telemedicine Workflow and suitable Applications at Center for Women’s Health to allow for in-office and satellite contact with patients seeking appointments digitally. This telemedicine workflow allows for usage of the current Electronic Medical Record system and easy scaling for future operations.Developed the COVID-19 screening procedure for usage before patients enter the office building. The procedures consists of asking questions regarding travel history, exposure, symptoms, as well as mandatory infrared forehead temperature documentation for all staff, patients, and other personnel entering the building. High risk/temperature patients are rescheduled for telemedicine visits. Patients coughing with normal temperature are masked and marked as such for Physician precaution. Additional devices for UV-C sterilization were purchased and installed, allowing for cleaning of staff personal items and non-medical equipment.
