I have experience in a newsroom working on a deadline, in front of a microphone broadcasting live, and behind a camera to preserve that perfect moment.+Working in Public Relations for the City of Columbia, I deal with high profile contacts on a regular basis. I coordinate events with the media, write newsletters read by thousands, create social media content that promotes events and keeps residents informed, shoot and edit video and still photography, livestream important city events, and write official city press releases.+At Drake Media Company I was responsible for meeting the visual needs of corporate clients we had contracts with. I have also had the pleasure of videoing weddings, one of the most important days of the clients' lives. From angles to lenses to lighting there's a lot of pressure and responsibility to get the perfect shot in the moment and deliver the perfect film.+At South Carolina Public Radio I was reporting on stories important to people statewide. I traveled to various cities, met and interviewed truly unique and amazing individuals, researched and pitched stories, and recorded and edited audio for broadcast over the air.+At WXRY I created, wrote, recorded, and edited promotional material to be broadcast over the air, with material still a part of the station's current rotation.+At WUSC I hosted and DJed a weekly radio show where I was responsible for coming up with two hours of entertaining content on a weekly basis that would engage the listener.
