• Contributed to the United States Trade Representative’s investigation request into the impact of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (No. TPA-105-001), by utilizing R to clean, transform, and combine various trade datasets totaling over 150 million values, which then internally calculated tariff weights and rates through a collapse function• Created a concordance using VLOOKUP that connected the trade industry sectors, sector numbers, and HS codes with industry specific breakouts, so the economists could breakout specific products, automatically modifying the TPP dataset • Wrote the introduction to the manufacturing section for a congressional research request on U.S. exports to Cuba (investigation no. 332-552) by analyzing trade data and qualitative factors to determine U.S. industry export growth • Wrote a country profile of Ukraine for the Chairman's office examining Ukraine's general economic indicators and historical trade flows, which involved collecting data from the World Bank/UN, creating tables and charts, and writing a summary • Aided the United States Trade Representative through technical assistance literature requests about illegal wildlife trade in Africa, trade agreements in APEC countries, and the impact of trade on development in India• Assisted the lead economist of a Title VII antidumping investigation by providing pricing data and compiling tables, which was used to determine if there was material injury to the U.S. industry due to underpriced imports
