I am constantly curious, independent and observant. With 13 years of experience in FED and over 4 years experience in UX Design, i bring with me extensive experience in web development and design thinking skills. I am always up for a new design challenge and love to seamlessly bridge the gap between user needs and technical feasibility.As you can see by my portfolio, i have been a Front-End Web Developer up until 2018 when i made the switch the UX Design. Since then i have been slowly developing my soft skills in experience design and am very excited to see where i leads me next.

The Black Dog Institute is a Medical Research Institute and a global leader in translational mental health research. My role here involved to help turn our world-class research findings into digital e-health products by using the latest HCD and Agile methodologies. Some wins: ➡️ Designed a new website for a clinical trial to help children with anxiety and depression using Exposure Therapy. Clinical trials start in mid-2023.➡️ Redesigned a “30-day challenge” native app in Figma which helped test our new design system and refresh a legacy application.➡️ Organised, designed, and researched a new online mental health clinic for kids. It’s currently in clinical trials.➡️ Provided UI and UX advice to an intervention helping people with suicidal thoughts in conjunction with product teams at Macquarie University.➡️ Organised and facilitated co-design sessions with our lived experience advisors to create inclusive product decisions and designs.➡️ Maintained the Black Dog Institute’s design system to ensure brand consistency across all digital products.➡️ Mentored junior designers and researchers in my team, improving their knowledge around HCD practices, research techniques and presentation skills.

NewsCorp is one of Australia’s largest media publishers. As part of the product & technology department, I was working in a tight-knit UX team working across a large variety of Australia-wide products at one of Australia’s largest media publishers.Some wins:➡️ Created brand new personas through user-research and data for Supercoach. Over 20 interviews were conducted, with fresh insights being fed back to product stakeholders influencing the product roadmap. ➡️ Collaborated with UI Designers and external developers to improve the usability and aesthetics of SuperCoach which lead to the launch of a new design for this product, increase user satisfaction and general usability.➡️ Assisted in the creation of NewsCorp’s new design system, helping to conduct over 150 user interviews to ensure our new designs had robust navigation and UI assets. This design system has been rolled out across all our national mastheads and brands, including News.com.au.➡️ I was the principle UX designer for a brand new long-form sporting news website, CODE Sports. My UX activities on this product made sure this new product was fit for market.➡️ Redesigned a new sticky video player and playlist experience that was rolled out to all our major mastheads and titles, increasing user views and satisfying business objectives.
