● I was appointed Director of Information Systems and Technology, a position that has responsibility across many internally focused teams providing services to all Agency business areas. Teams include: Desktop support services; Infrastructure services; Cloud services and Web services.● Since appointment I have led an extensive enterprise analysis across all business areas (entailing 30+ workshops) to establish a wholistic view of the capability requirements across the business. ● Outputs from the enterprise analysis and the current state architecture assessment fed into development of a new ICT strategy and Future state architecture to meet the needs of the business. A portfolio of projects was created to bridge the gap and prioritized into a ICT roadmap. Then a separate portfolio team was established to drive delivery of the roadmap.

The Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) commenced operations on 1 July 2016. I was appointed acting director of Front-line Support and Technical Implementation Services, a position that has responsibility across the spectrum of support in the digital health arena from first level help center through to highly technical third level support. Since appointment I have set up and now manage a number of teams to provide the support capabilities required for current and future digital health implementation activities across the nation. With teams/capabilities within my branch including "Customer Care"( Tier 1); "Implementation Support" (Tier 2); "Privacy Policy and Legislative Support"; "Implementation Architecture Support"; and "Implementation Business Analysis Support".

• Technical architecture consulting for: - "Basic Land Information Network" project, - "Digital Cadastral Database" enhancement project, - "Government Land Register" project.• Configuration Manager in multiple projects and instrumental in the establishment of new configuration management procedures.• Team Leader in the design and implementation of the "Queensland Native Title Information Management Environment" (QNTIME)• Designed and implemented an application module for the "Topographic Database Management Environment" (TDME). This project involved exploring new spatial technologies in the form of Spatialware on an Oracle database and Spatialware datablades on an Informix database.• Designed and implemented the following systems: - Resource Information Management Environment (RIME). - Basic Land Information Network (BLIN) enhancements. - Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) update enhancements. - Microstation DCDB update. - DNR Keymap tool.• Technical consulting for development of configuration management and version control systems.

• Designed, developed and interfaced a relational database and a “Video Logging System” application for the London International Financial Futures and Options Stock Exchange (LIFFE).• Installed , maintained and administrated a NOVELL 4.1 25 user network with the SFT dual redundant mirrored server option. • Set up a WATCOM SQL 16 user client / server database as an NLM database engine on the NOVELL server.

Research & development project management for the design of a new range of power products.Development of a Microsoft Windows based application to design computer protection equipment (filters) engaged in the minimisation of electrical surges and transients. The software system computer models a wide variety of electronic components and designs the filter with the best performance possible using the currently available electronic components.Development of a Microsoft Windows based software application and hardware interfaces for a computer controlled automated testing facility. The system automatically tests filters giving graphical test results for the performance of the filter.
