Development Engineer
Current- Develop and correlate thermal analysis models for electromechanical actuators, valves, mono- and bi-propellant thrusters, slip rings, and spacecraft avionics units using finite element and finite differencing.
- Perform finite element structural analysis on electromechanical actuators, valves, rocket engines, and spacecraft avionics units
- Provide evidence of analytical design validation in detailed technical reports and presentations
- Present simulation results to customers during preliminary and critical design reviews
- Validate robustness of design through the trade study simulations with the intent of assessing sensitivity caused by uncertainty in modeling techniques, design tolerances, and environments
- Influence hardware mechanical and thermal development and qualification testing by providing technical guidance on environments and instrumentation for correlating mathematical models
