I manage the software implementation and customization of a number of different robotic warehouse offerings from Swisslog, Inc. I do all the things a PM will do. I manage the monthly accounting and weekly/monthly reporting about the project's software activities. I create and manage the schedule for the project. I lead team meetings, conduct problem resolution discussions, coordinate necessary communications with the client, etc. I manage multiple projects at once and coordinate onshore/offshore team responsibilities as well when required.

In charge of all IT program activities supporting the iSportsman product at AScIS, Inc. I manage all IT project related planning and execution, manning, budget, and technical engagements with third party providers and sub-contractors to evolve the iSportsman service into an excellent Software as a Service (SaaS) product for our US gov't clients. I also develop all technical documentation as well as this is a very small business with only a few employees. Currently, my additional duties include getting everything ready for iSportsman to become FedRAMP certified in support of U.S. Army contract requirements to move the iSportsman service to this secure data environment.

Responsible for leading the growth and development of all engineering activities at Timitron, Inc. Also responsible for supporting and driving business development primarily within the government contracting sector, but also within the public sector as well. I am also working to maintain and develop client relationships. Currently leading a significant effort to reestablish a technical and software engineering program at one of our clients in support of their web based product which has fallen into an unmanaged, under-developed state and needs reviving on the whole. This product is used by numerous government clients and is the only one of its kind to offer the particular service which the clients have come to rely greatly depend upon.

Serving as the Sr Change Management Project Manager for American Family Insurance supporting a major shift from Peoplesoft HR Systems to Workday HR systems. My duties include helping to build out, track, and drive the activities associated with corporate change initiatives, corporate training, and enterprise communications associated with the change to Workday HR tools and process.

This was a 6 month contract to support Anthem in two large statewide Medicare/Medicaid website migrations as an IT Project Manager.

October 2014 - November 2014Served as Lead SOA Architect for Cigna Health.Mar 2014 - August 2014Served as Lead SOA Architect and SOA Strategist for Freddie Mac. This was a short 20 week contract with a short extension. Provided a formal recommendation for restructuring the entire organizational finance process to support a more cohesive and homogeneous SOA IT Infrastructure. Also provided an approach to managing the new infrastructure as a whole with strong emphasis placed on end-to-end processes within the major divisions of the company and the collection of shared services and capabilities they represent. August 2013 -Feb 2014Served Lead ESB Architect for Dupont Chemicals.Mar 2013 - July 2013Served as IT Project Manager for Integration supporting TJX, Inc in the Global Merchandizing Initiative Retail Management Services project (GMI RMS). Feb 2012 - February 2013Served as the Lead Integration Architect for Walgreens WellHealth program. My duties included planning and designing the integration architecture for a future major release (version 2.0). I was responsible for everything related to SOA integration across the enterprise from a design perspective at the time.Feb 2011 - Feb 2012Prior to the previous position I led the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) team for a project called ISIS, now called SoftCard, which was at the time a new product being developed for mobile computing (cell phones). My duties aside from managing were also to come up with an effective enterprise error handling and logging system for a highly distributed enterprise of partnerships and computing platforms. I led the architecting, business process evolution (a process didn't even exist for this enterprise at the time since it was so new), system workflow, coding, human interface design, and testing of this capability. My team consisted of 6 people here in the US and 5 people offshored in India. I served in this position for 1 year and achieved all objectives with great success.

Project Lead/Data Architect worked on a contract at the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), Little Creek Joint Expeditionary Base, Virginia Beach, Va.Primary duties to:• Provide consultation to the government in the design and development of network and application architecture for the supporting of daily network defense operations• Provide direction on engineering potential SOA solutions based on known open standards established by the W3C and upon direction established by the Department of Defense• Document operational application architecture as it evolves• Perform data analysis on current system capabilities with the eye toward evolving more effective data architectures across the key systems involved with computer network defense and for various data replication requirements that need to be met• Capture organizational business processes and identify key opportunities for turning processes into automated capabilities in order to improve overall organizational and system efficiencyThis position had no requirements for software development. It was straight forward system engineering and business process improvement.

Performance was on three contracts while working at BAH. First was on the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) from March 2004 - Nov 2004 as a developer/tester. Unfortunately only had a little development flow my way since I was separated from the development team geographically, but did a lot of early testing. Next I was a software and web services developer at Ft. Monroe J6 (NORTHCOM) for 11 months. Helped develop a project called the Personnel Management System. Lastly, I was working in JFCOM J87 Joint Data and Services Strategy Division in Norfolk. Only a little development work in this division but mostly required HEAVY technical skills associated with consulting so I found myself experimenting on many new concepts and technologies on my own time in Service Oriented Architecture just to keep up with evolving knowledge. Happily served there for 5 years from Aug `05 to July 2010.

Performed software engineering on various projects that were contracted out of Damneck (Naval base) in Virginia Beach, Va. Developed embedded applications using Java, C/C++ for use aboard ships. Did extensive work in ground up design and engineering of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). Worked with ORACLE for a short time, SYBASE for a longer time, and MYSQL for the most time. Had a very short and bad experience with POSTGRES while there as well. Not my favorite RDBMS by far. Did extensive back-end integration of RDBMS systems into embedded applications and also built plenty of front end GUI's for users to access the Database directly and for the application to DB integration. Documentation for all projects was accomplished using UML extensively along with IBM Rational (formerly Rational Rose Enterprise at the time). Became a STRONG proponent of Agile Modeling & Development and XP (Extreme Programming) practices after experiencing the weaknesses/drawbacks of classical spiral development for 3 years there.
