I'm a former Marine Corps attorney with extensive first-chair trial experience. My trial experience includes 16 federal court-martial trials, which involved felony fraud, drug distribution, conspiracy to steal military munitions, computer crimes, aggravated assault likely to produce death or grievous bodily harm, and serial sexual assault. Since leaving active duty, my civil litigation experience has included over 100 depositions and 3 civil jury trials.My technology background includes JavaScript (TypeScript, React, Material UI, SharePoint Framework, SPFx), C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, Linux, and virtualization. When I was on active duty, I developed law practice management software that tracked all aspects of court-martial litigation and automated document creation. My current practice focuses on patent and trade secret litigation involving computer technology in federal court and before the International Trade Commission. My patent cases have spanned a wide variety of technologies, including contextual and location-based internet advertising systems, mobile device security systems, BIOS and bootloaders, telephony and telecommunications systems, wireless charging, wireless communications including NFC, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, EDGE, 3G, LTE, 4G, and 5G, home automation technology, semiconductor manufacturing, and solid oxide fuel cell manufacturing.
