I am a dedicated and results-driven project manager with a passion for improving safety and enhancing mobility for multimodal users. As part of the Traffic Engineering & Advanced Mobility group at Mead & Hunt, I lead a talented team of engineers and analysts in the National Capital Region. Our mission is to create safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions for our clients in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. Some of my key experiences are:• Signal Timing and Operations: Coordinating the nationally-recognized DC Citywide Traffic Signal Optimization Program, which has leveraged the traditional signal retiming process to implement pedestrian and bicycle friendly signal timings at over 1600 intersections.• Traffic Analysis: Developing traffic analysis studies, including signal warrant, HAWK warrant, pedestrian gap, spot speed, before/after, and corridor road diet studies.• Multimodal Design Projects: Managing corridor design projects, including road diets, bus priority, and bicycle facility designs, and safety interventions, including Vision Zero quick-build improvement and HSIP designs. • Standards and Guidelines Development: Preparing policy guidelines for traffic engineering treatments, including Leading Pedestrian Intervals, Vertical Traffic Calming, and Clearance Intervals.Beyond my technical contributions, I’m honored to be recognized by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) as a 2023 Young Leader to Follow and 2024 CAPSITE Young Professional of the Year, and to have participated in the LeadershipITE program. Additionally, I serve as the co-chair of the Traffic Signal Design & Operation Subcommittee for the ITE Traffic Engineering Council and as co-webmaster for the Chesapeake and Potomac Section of ITE (CAPSITE). I am passionate about contributing to knowledge sharing within the profession and have delivered presentations on pedestrian/bike topics at numerous ITE events over the years, as well as contributed to technical publications. I am driven by the belief that transportation is not just about moving vehicles, but about connecting people and communities. I am committed to creating a future where mobility is safe, efficient, and accessible for all. Thank you for visiting my profile. Let’s drive the future of transportation together!
