As the cooling subsystem lead I have the responsibility of managing a team that's goal is to design and manufacture a cooling system for the FSAE electric vehicle. As a first year team my goal is to lay the foundation for future car designs. This means creating resources (i.e excel spreadsheets) that will help in further modifications of the cooling system.

My position as a FOCUS leader required creating a positive and welcoming community for incoming freshmen students. This position gave me to collaborate with a colleague to effectively communicate pivotal information and create a comfortable atmosphere for new students. We also worked outside the classroom to set up social events and lesson plans for in.

In this position I was placed in a group where we worked on utilizing the ROBOTIS products to design engaging projects for school aged students to hobbyist. I designed a voice-controlled robot using all-in-one servo and serial communication between Python and Arduino. Each of us worked on an individual project and once completed created videos showing how.

As a lifeguard I was required to work in a team centered atmosphere where I had to constantly be in a state of readiness in order to effectively protect patrons enjoying the park. Through training I learned CPR and lifeguard skill required to effectively save a patron form a dangerous situation within the park.

Through my job as a ride attendant I was introduced to the professional world; I learned the importance of punctuality, hard work, and responsibility. My position as a ride attendant put me in contact with a variety of people and ensuring that they were safe and enjoying the park was my priority.
